The Seminole's
The Seminole's started when a small group of people left from the Creeks. They would be known as the Seminole's. However, from here it gets really complicated as there are multiple places that the Seminole's are found. However, there are two deviants that are notable. These are the "unconquered people" which are Seminole's located in Florida and second, the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. First off, the Seminole's in Florida originate from the Trail of Tears and have the same history as the other Seminole's up until this point. These Seminole's call themselves the unconquered people because they were able to escape capture by the U.S government and evaded them by heading to Florida. From here, over the next course of history, these Seminole's would mainly leave Florida after various conflicts and now live somewhere past the Mississippi River. This would leave around 300 left and there isn't a lot more to share about them since then so the main focus will be on the Oklahoma Seminoles.

When the Trail of Tears started, the Seminoles were the most resistant. Due to land disputes, slavery and trading, the Seminoles went to war with the U.S from 1816 to 1858. Throughout this period, there were 3 wars over these said issues and the main driving factor for the resistance of the Trail of Tears. However, eventually during the Trail of Tears, a large group of Seminoles did move to Oklahoma as the government desired. Following these wars, the Seminoles would be hit again with the allotments. Due to fraudulent means though, the Seminoles would then lose another 80% of their land and were left with practically nothing. However, they would eventually be able to establish their own government. Today, the Seminoles still remain a small tribe scattered around the country with the largest presence in Oklahoma.
